Simpsons Landing/ Isle of Bags
Our local and idyllic swimming spots, within 20 minutes walk. Walk from the pub under the eucalyptus trees, along the bank of the river, and you will reach the Isle of Bags and Simpsons landing man-made beaches. Have a BBQ, take a dip or simply relax. These landings are also used by boats setting off for their day of fishing.
Great Southwest Walk
The Great Southwest walk can be explored through shorter or overnight hikes. Luckily, we have it right on our doorstep! You can join the walk from Nelson, but if you have started the walk from afar, then pop in here for a warm brew and shower to freshen up before continuing your journey!
